Loch Lomond charity cause

We’ve got behind our first charity of 2017 for a great cause with Simon Connolly and CLIC Sargent – the UK’s leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families.

Simon Connolly, who we had the pleasure of meeting at this years TriExpo in Manchester, is planning’s his greatest challenge… a 24 mile swim across Loch Lomond to raise 5k for his charity. We plan on donating our apparel to Simon and his team for this amazing cause.

Loch Lomond is the longest lake in the UK measuring 24 miles, the swim should take approximately 18 hours of non stop swimming with a water temperature of around 12°C. This is the equivalent of swimming 1,536 lengths of a standard 25 metre swimming pool.

You can donate to his cause by texting SICO65 to 70070 with your amount.

You can also visit his JustGiving page for further details and to see the progress at: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/simonswimslochlomond
